MVP PRIVACY NOTICE
Privacy notice
This notice covers the first SoundTrip iOS test and website waitlist. The product is still being built; this page will be updated before release whenever data behavior materially changes.
Last updated: July 16, 2026What we process
To turn a public article or text you submit into private audio, SoundTrip processes the link, text, chosen voice, segment directions, generated audio, and listening progress. The website waitlist only collects email and language preference.
Why
The data is used to parse content, generate and play audio, remember private progress, apply the local changes you request, and send test invitations.
Retention and deletion
The public MVP must let you delete an article and its related audio. Early builds use short-lived, device-isolated storage; exact periods will be stated in the TestFlight invitation.
What we do not do
We do not publish imported articles as public content, bypass logins or paywalls, use short voice directions for cloning, or intentionally log full article text or API keys.
Processors
Audio generation will use evaluated model providers and infrastructure uses Cloudflare. Actual providers, regions, and policies will be listed before external testing.
Your choices
You may paste text you are entitled to process instead of submitting a link, delete articles and audio, and unsubscribe from test invitations.
